Bethany Garcia received an accounting degree with honors from the University of

Houston. Soon after graduating, she earned her CPA license. Before becoming a full-

time stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher, she worked for KPMG accounting

firm and Hewlett Packard. She has been married for over 30 years and is a mother to

four wonderful boys. She homeschooled all of her boys and served at FAITH co-op for

over ten years. Her family currently attends Calvary Chapel West Houston, and she

volunteers regularly. Her teaching style incorporates many hands-on activities. While

teaching or just talking, Bethany always tries to incorporate the Lord and His saving
