Bonnie Rowe B.A., M.Ed. – The Rowe family home schooled for seven years, with their youngest completing high school in May, 2000. Bonnie taught six years for ACCELL, the academic arm of the Houston Homeschool Christian Youth Association, and served as ACCELL academic director for two years. She also served on the steering committee of the HCYA Graduation Program for several years. With a heart for the importance of classical education technique, Bonnie founded Legacy Arts in 2000 to promote an appreciation for the written and spoken word, a heritage that may be traced back to early classical literature and culture. This knowledge prepares the student to carefully discover the origin of much modern thought and to gauge the worthiness of that thought against the Word of God. For several years, Bonnie taught developmental reading and writing and managed a Learning Center for the North Harris Montgomery College District after moving to the Houston area from Corpus Christi. She holds a B.A. in British Literature and journalism from Texas A & I University and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Texas A&M University at College Station. Member of the American Classical League, Association for Educational Communications and Technology and Kappa Delta Pi, and International Honor Society in Education. The Rowe family are members of The Church at Alden Bridge in The Woodlands. www.legacy-arts.net P.O., Box 132622, Spring, TX. 77393. rowebo@sbcglobal.net
