Patriots Civics Club -
a chapter of Generation Joshua
High
school students and their
parents are invited to become
politically active and explore the origins of the American experiment
in freedom. With next spring's critical primaries coming up
soon, this is a perfect time to follow the founders into the political
fray - find out if you are America's next Adams, Madison, or
Washington!

Costs: There is no cost associated with the Civics Club. Expenses (if any) for meetings, field trips, activities will be shared by all members. Please email to Bonnie Rowe if you will attend the Oct 19th meeting or if you would like more information. |

The
Gamma Chapter of Eta
Sigma Alpha Honor Society
was formed in 2001 in the Tomball/Woodlands area to
recognize academic achievement and to provide community service
opportunities for home schooled students. We accept applications for
membership from current sophomores, juniors and seniors. Applicants
must have a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and must provide proof
of test scores from one of the following tests:SAT (1800), PSAT score
(180), ACT (26), IOWA or Stanford (90% composite score). Our first
meeting will be on Friday, September 12th from 1-3p.m.
Monthly meetings will consist of either informational topics or community
service projects. At least two community service projects each semester
will be planned and students must complete 10 hours of community service
annually. Past projects: Habitat for Humanity, Interfaith Ministries
in The Woodlands, SOS in Magnolia, TEAM in Tomball, and Gospel
Lakes. The student must maintain high scholastic and social standards and
participate in the monthly meetings (50% attendance required). For

Northwest
Homeschoolers Serving Christ (NHSC) is
a homeschool teen group dedicated to serving our community and getting
to know other homeschool teens in Christian fellowship. NHSC is open
to all homeschool youth who are 13 years and older. Each month, NHSC
members will have the opportunity to reach out to our community
through a service project. A social event (i.e.: game night, laser
tag, beach trip, etc.) is planned for each month as well. For more
